Clients who appreciate the Art Of Faux. Thank you Hammad's for your business! I fell in love with their little girl Petra during summer art class and have enjoyed getting to know her parents. They gave me less than two weeks to finish the faux work in time for their Thanksgiving Vacation... I Love the pressure!! Seriously!!

To The Trains!
A Real Mountain Home

Angel Fire Art Piece.....with lots of extras! There are so many eye pleasing elements in this gorgeous house that it was only logical that the walls should be an uncomplicated yet elegant finish. You seriously have to see this house to believe everything you see.....

Distressed Kitchen Hood
Sutton Construction does some really awesome work!! Precise...Clean...Honest...
With just a few additional accents and finishes their homes are always my favorite.

Copper Kitchen Update

It's always tricky repairing someone else's faux work because everyone has a completely
different style.....(besides the fact I loath sponge painting......) But here's the process......

Backdrop For My Own Ballerina

Of Course The Answer Is Aways Yes when in comes to creating a beautiful backdrop for my girls. This is one of my many latest projects... and it turned out to be an awesome recital. I'm so proud of my ballerina's!

Beautiful Kitchen Again
What A Simple Finish can do to a vacation home kitchen is just amazing. I selected some earth tone glazes to complement the beautiful new white granite counter topthat was just installed.

More Than Impressive Master Bath
A Master Bath with Superiority in finishes. If you could have only seen the 1980's pink striped wallpaper that once hung on these walls you would never believe it was the same room. It is a gorgeous room now and the homeowner's will feel that they now belong....

Paisley Powder Bath
A Powder Bath with Giant but Gentle Paisleys has become one of my favorite. With an aged glaze and distressed plaster finish this room has a whole new look. The homeowner loves art and color and needed this powder bath to reflect her style and have a huge impact for her guests.

Orange Takes On A New Light
The Guest Bath has taken on all new meaning with a fresh coat of orange and an aged wall glaze. The homeowner has wonderful artistic taste and I found the project fun because of that.

Kitchen Window View
A View From the Kitchen was transformed with a beautiful and soft landscape. Knowing the client loves and appreciates nature it was easy to create a space that she could enjoy everyday while she whips up one of her delicious meals.

Fireplace With Elegance
A Fireplace with Cutting Edge Elegance fits right in with this homeowners style. This finish was inspired by art pieces the homeowner has collected throughout the house. With his great taste and my eye for a good piece of art, we came up with the perfect copper and rust finish.

Faux Becomes The Backdrop
A Good Piece Of Art only looks good on a wall that compliments it perfectly. Most people think art can only be hung on a boring white background, when if fact they are very wrong. As long as you choose a neutral background any painting would look great on this wall.

WOW Dining!
This Absolutely Stunning Finish was surprisingly very simple. They say less is more, and this new dining room wall is really beautiful. Can't help bragging about this one!

Furry Forest
A Simply Stylized Forest makes baby Trey's room the perfect place for a
furry creature to live, (and sometimes sleep) Good luck to Mom and Dad!!
They say "Now the baby can come!"

It's Me Doing All The Work :)
Ok, so I have to show that's it's actually me doing the finishes... I've also been fortunate to have great assistant's who have been eager to learn the work and take good direction. Thank you to Rachel, Byron, Jackie, Curtis, Andy, Heather, Shay, and Airen!and of course my gorgeous twin sister Rox:)

Starfire Vacation Home
Starfire Vacation Condo is located 1 1/2 blocks from the ski runs and has the most incredible views! The owners are avid skiers from South Florida, fell in love with Angel Fire the first time they visited, and purchased this condo on the same trip. The condo was completely redecorated with hand made furniture and fresh accessories. I was allowed to pick my own finishes that completely transformed each room.

The Grande of Angel Fire
The Grande is a luxury condo/hotel located in the most beautiful ski resort town in Northern New Mexico. The construction project started two years ago and is nearing completion for Fall 2008. The owner of the building is a native Floridian with exquisite taste in finish details. With my portfolio we were able to select finishes that really complimented the beautiful wood work, lighting, and space of each room.

ALE Incorporated
ALE incorporated Real Estate Office is located just one block from the ski slopes. This space was totally renovated (once a laundry mat) and is now one of the most professional real estate offices in Angel Fire. I was able to incorporate a few different finishes in the space making it a perfect backdrop for the owners art and collectibles.

Master Bath Native American Mural
Native American Ruins is now the focal point of the master suite and bath completing the feel of the themed room. The Hohokam Indians dwelt in the plains of Arizona and farmed the land along with hunting and trading. What better way than to tell the story of these amazing people with the pictures of the past.

I Love The Dots Mommy!
Ashlyn's Ladybug Room was a girl's favorite! Borrowing the quilt design I oversized each lady bug and added a handwritten poem (artfully done by my oldest daughter) containing Ashlyn's name. There's also hidden happy ladybugs throughout the room....

Murals That Ribbbit!
A Boys Room of Ribbiiit Frogs has a stylized grass covering with lively and realistic frogs ready to catch the nearest insect available....

A French Fairy Pond
A Little Girl's Make-believe Room comes to life when fairies float through the room around curly grass and magical mushrooms. This room is complete with wooden fairies and flowing fabric headboards, every girl's dream come true.

This is me visiting all the crazy beautiful streets and the famous square in Venice. It was a little cold but it didn't stop me from walking in my high heeled boots exactly 6 hours that day. I had the most incredible time of my life! Italy is beautiful!

Among The Pines

A Mountain Suite is brought to life with a simple fresco of pines. With a handmade quilt and handmade furnishings, the room has a feel of simple beauty.

Blackened Chateau
An Old Blackened Chateau Hall is the waiting area of the master suites. While the base color black frightened the homeowner, the end result really blew them away. It is a unique finish that fits perfectly in to this passing space.

Western Relaxing
Okay Ya'll!! this is one western room you should check out! The wainscot is done up with a red leather finish (even the electrician thought is was real leather...) The upper wall is a straightforward vertical wash resembling a rustic space.

Stone Block Charm

A Simple Stone Block creates the perfect atmosphere for an intricate space. Laying down a warm yellow base and then adding grout lines makes this finish a complex yet beautiful finish.

Copper Sink Copper Walls
A Powder Bath starts with a deep base of chocolate brown and glazed with copper and red to finish with a beautiful copper vessel sink and faucet. This space is truly extraordinary!

Thanksgiving For Ten

A Dining Room was taken from bland to very warm with a glaze
of three tones just in time for the Thanksgiving Day celebrations.

Adobe Reveals and Petroglyphs
Native American Theme room with adobe reveals hiding in the corners and petroglyphs carved in the walls has the feel of an ancient ruin.

Redefined Dining
Another Rempe Home Project completed and with a new elegant great room and dining area. I glazed the original white walls with a sage and earth brown glaze to create a warmer atmosphere. This space is now ready to show to new prospective homeowners.

A Great Room
Keyes Great Room has been transformed from a stark white canvas to a soothing and sophisticated living and entertaining space. This residence is currently under remodel and will become a luxury vacation property with 5 themed master suites. As this is a working project for CRDesigns, check back for more room pictures when they are completed.

Ballroom Powder Bath
The Grande of Angel Fire has a new eye catching finish. With the marble floors and wainscot, mahogany trim and extraordinary accessories, these main bathrooms are complete with vibrant yet elegant red tone glazing. When you view this space, your breathe will be taken away, it's absolutely beautiful!

Southwestern Fireplace

The LaGuardia Project started with a fresh base coat on the surrounding walls of a very ordinary room. With the fireplace consisting of only a scratch coat, I added a marble dust plaster skim coat over a two tone glaze. The reveals are meant to reveal an antiqued finish underneath. The shimmery finish adds a little unexpected flare making the fireplace the centerpiece of the living room.

PowderBath
A New powder bath was transformed from stark white walls to a completely different retreat. I believe that the guest bath should have a huge statement showing how creative and beautiful you're willing to be. Look for future postings on this room when the bath has been accessorized.
